Moving Surface is an ongoing research project that explores kinetic and interactive surfaces for interiors, building facades, and other architectural elements. Shown through thoughts, sketches, working prototypes, and renderings, each idea explores either a passive or active interaction by the viewer, and all are intentionally 'no-tech' to insure a more direct connection between the user and the surface.

Simple paper folding techniques, elements of Kirigami, and strategic material layering are all that is needed to explore ideas about interaction, movement, and transformation.
